Replace a myki card
The balance of a myki is safe if you have registered the card prior to it being lost or stolen. Report your card lost or stolen by contacting the myki call centre or via your myki online account.
The replacement process depends on the reason why you need a replacement.
If your myki has stopped working
Replace a myki that stops working:
- using a myki Replacement Form, which should be posted to the reply paid address supplied on the form. Include the card you are replacing where possible;
or in person at:
You will need to complete and lodge a myki Replacement Form. A defective myki card is replaced free of charge.
If your myki card is lost or stolen
Replacement of a lost or stolen myki card can not be done in person. Registered customers can report their myki lost or stolen via the call centre or their myki online account. Call centre staff can order a replacement myki immediately.
Alternatively, replace your lost or stolen myki using a myki Replacement Form, which should be posted to the reply paid address supplied on the form. You should report your myki missing as soon as possible for your balance to be protected, before completing the replacement form.
You will receive your replacement myki, containing a balance transfer of any remaining funds, within 10 days of the form being received.
