Our partners

The two names associated with myki are the Transport Ticketing Authority (TTA) and Keane Australia Micropayment Consortium Pty Ltd (Kamco).

Transport Ticketing Authority
The Transport Ticketing Authority (TTA), a state body established in June 2003, is responsible for the delivery and management of myki.

The TTA’s aims are:

  • a smooth transition to the new ticketing system in metropolitan and regional Victoria
  • that customers trust and accept the new ticketing system
  • that the new myki and current Metcard ticketing systems perform at high levels, are reliable and offer value for money ticketing infrastructure and operations.

The TTA and its contracting partner, Kamco are working together with transport operators and other stakeholders to implement myki.

Kamco
External link Kamco is the TTA’s key project partner in delivering myki. Kamco was engaged to design, build and implement the new ticketing system. Kamco will operate myki for 10 years. Kamco is a wholly-owned subsidiary of US company Keane, an NTT Data Company.
