Choose auto top up for ‘set and forget’ convenience
 |
Auto top up lets you set up an automated payment to your myki. If your myki money balance is running low, it is topped up from a linked bank account or credit card. |
Note: Auto top up is not available for myki pass.
How it works
- Set a minimum threshold ($10 or more).
- Specify an amount you want to top up (e.g. $30).
- When your myki money balance drops to its minimum threshold, your myki is automatically topped up with the amount you have specified.
To set up auto top up, login to your myki account or for more information, call 13 6954 (13 myki).
You can also print a copy of the Auto top up request form (PDF, 336KB, 5pp.) or pick one up from:
- Premium Stations
- the MetShop (Melbourne Town Hall, near the corner of Swanston and Little Collins streets)
- the myki discovery centre at Southern Cross Station, Melbourne.
If setting up an auto top up from your linked bank account you must complete the Auto top up request form.
Note: If there are insufficient funds in your bank account or on credit card when the debit is made, your myki will be blocked and you will need to contact the myki website or call centre to pay the outstanding amount. Because a debit occurs whenever your myki money balance reaches the trigger amount, it is important you make sure you will have sufficient money in your bank account to meet this requirement.
For up-to-date information about where you can pick up an Auto top up request form, please call 13 6954 (13 myki).
