Use a myki machine if you want to:   use ‘quick top up’ for myki money (cash only) top up with myki money top up with a myki pass (max $10 change given if using cash to purchase)  check your myki money balance and myki pass details review your transaction and purchase history   Note: myki machines cannot be used to touch on or touch off.

How to use a myki machine:

Place your myki on the myki machine as indicated and follow the prompts on the screen.

myki machines will be located at:

• all metropolitan stations and selected V/Line stations

There are some stations that will only have myki machines installed when the station is fully converted to myki. Until installation is complete, please make sure your myki is topped up before you travel or that you have a valid Metcard. You can top up online or on the phone – allowing at least 24 hours for processing – or instantly at other metropolitan train stations. 

The following metropolitan stations do not currently have a myki machine: Fairfield, Glen Waverley.
