When myki arrives, you will have the opportunity to make myki yours by choosing from the different options available.

myki card options include:

• Registered   -  choosing to register your myki will:
  • Protect you against losing any value on myki if it is lost or stolen 
  • Enable you to take full advantage of auto top up via the internet
  • Give you the option of personalising your myki with a name and/or photograph
• Concession - Some concession cardholders will be required to have a personalised myki
• Anonymous - no personal details are necessary to start using myki
  

Once you have a card, you can add value to it and begin using myki to scan on and scan off. It can calculate the Best Fare for you automatically.
